“Traveling Artist, Gypsy at Heart and Soul” Part 1

Gaining Perspective in Cancun
Over the past few months, many collectors have called, texted, and emailed me wondering what show will I be doing next? I think over the past 26 years I have traveled more that anyone I know! LOL!
From missing Birthdays, weddings & other important celebrations, I find myself unwilling to miss anymore.
Scanning over 2500 art shows from New York to Washington and the fact that I am approaching the age of 61, I realized I am ready for a new adventure!
My AMAZING parents, knowing all to well how hard I work (I am not complaining, I love my job!) gifted me an all-expense paid 16 day vacation in Cancun.
While on vacation gaining perspective in every way imaginable, I realized I will NEVER retire, how can an artist retire? Being an artist that creates paintings for a living is who I am, its not a job, it is my life. And so creating a life style that generates more family time, flexibility, more time for my spiritual adventures and care of my mind, body and soul is vital to my art thriving and giving you the best of me I have to offer.
Cancun was amazing, everyday I woke up I asked myself “what do you want to do”. I worked a little, exercised everyday, got massages, swam 3 times a day and ate what ever I felt like. I had FUN to say the least!
I swam in a cenote (A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater. The regional term is specifically associated with the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, where cenotes were commonly used for water supplies by the ancient Maya, and occasionally for sacrificial offerings. I saw one of the 7th wonders of the world and enjoyed many good meals, great laughs, movie binges and fantastic adventures with one of my soul sisters, Janel. It was one of the BEST vacations I have ever had.

I love to travel, I love meeting new people and I love the art shows, but I also love being home, being with family and now that I have two granddaughters; one in So Cal and one in Oregon it presents traveling adventures in 2 locations.
As you may or may not know I am planning on not doing the art shows the way I have done them for the past 26 years. I am in the process of renovating my 32 foot RV into a Mobile Art Studio that will rock your world! I am working with the graphic designer as we speak to create a vinyl wrap with my artwork, that will stop traffic by the 1000’s.
As a part of this adventure I decide to sell my Mercedes Sprinter Van and to my surprise, 3 days before I left for Cancun my HUGE Van Sold! While unloading it frantically before leaving on a plane, I discovered pieces I forgot I had.
As I move forward in this journey it is time to let go, everything-must-go to make dreams come true for you and me.
So….. I am having a Christmas in July Sale this FRIDAY July 9th/My Birthday!
