The Heart Artist’s Journey into Global Expansion

dream-big
DREAM BIG My slogan for life!

How does one describe, in simple words, a 20 year journey that culminates in one extraordinary, unexpected adventure and an opportunity that has the potential to catapult one’s art career into a global platform. Far beyond what I have ever expected, yet at the same time, one I have always dreamt about, since I was 5 years old.

The Heart Artist’s Journey into Global Expansion – PART 1
As the Heart Artist, some think I am obsessed with hearts, but honestly, bringing happiness to the world through my heart is my life, my mission, my purpose and my passion. Hearts have always been a part of my life, it is a symbol that has been with me since I can remember. In fact, my very first piece of art in kindergarten has lots of hearts.
But for the adventure I am about to describe, how does one describe the magnitude of emotions I have experienced in a snapshot view of the 100’s of pivotal points in my art career, stretching me both joyfully and painfully, from fear to joy, from tears to laughter, from devastation to triumph, all leading me to this one moment in my life.

It all started when I hired, for one hour consulting, a well respected Art consultant who encouraged me to attend the Las Vegas Art Licensing Expo in July of 2016, which was starting in just 4 days. So I announced to Steve, with 4 days notice, that we are going on an adventure to Vegas and we were going gambling . . . We are gambling on me and my art. We have nothing to lose. He lovingly bought into the whole idea, as his good-natured self always does, and within 3 days we packed the RV, the cats and everything else and rushed to Las Vegas.

At first I felt like a fish out of water. Not really knowing who to meet or what to do, we bought VIP Tickets to everything. The Licensing University, the Gala’s, the parties… everything! We stepped into a world that we had never seen nor been a part of before. It was scary and exciting all at the same time.

We walked around for three days, making appointments and meeting all kinds of artists’ agents and people that licensed everything from Martha Steward & Emeril to Play-doh, from Disney to Pokeman, from clothing to sippy cups, from art work to rugs… IT WAS AMAZING! Colorful, exciting and fun! I introduced myself to many agents and then I came across this one booth that lit off firecrackers in my heart. . . Sounds weird, I know, but something about these three women sitting in the booth felt like home to me, like they have always been in my life, even though I just met them.

The Buffalo Works picks up new artist
Debbie Arambula
Minneapolis, MN (Nov. 12, 2016) – The Buffalo Works is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as the worldwide licensing agency for California based artist, Debbie Arambula.
Debbie enters the licensing business for the first time with a large portfolio of art painted directly from her “heart”. Her fans have dubbed her the “heart artist” and while she does paint many heart images, she also creates in many other themes and seasons. Debbie grew up in Northern California where, from a very young age, she felt a deep calling to bring energy, positivity and beauty to the world. That calling is embedded in everything she creates and paints. In fact, the region south of San Francisco where Debbie was raised, was called “The Valley of Heart’s Delight” for a long time because it was the largest area of fruit farming and production in the world. That region is now home to circuit boards and cell phones and had been renamed Silicon Valley.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have been chosen to extend and expand Debbie’s art brand worldwide” says Joanne Olds, President, The Buffalo Works. “She is an extremely talented artist whose passion for helping the world through art quite literally jumps out of her images and directly into the consumer’s heart”.
The Buffalo Works will be licensing Debbie in all categories such as gift products, stationery, apparel, wall décor, home décor, dinnerware and more.
