Two Days before my 55th birthday while we were driving through Nebraska, our propane gas line broke without us having any clue that it was leaking gas out at a rapid rate and all it needed was a cigarette butt to change the course of our journey, skirting a disaster that could have ended our dream abruptly. Luckily my hubby is a master at fixing things and he fixed it with three hours and we count our blessings every day!

When I first set out to paint this rainbow colored flag painting, I was inspired by the many challenges I had faced and tackled along the journey. Of course “I” really means “WE”, as my hubby is a vital source of inspiration and support in my life. You don’t get your dream unless you put in good honest long hours, lots of planning, hard work and support of loved ones. And this is just what we have been doing for 39 years together!

Freedom is not FREE it has to be nurtured and cared for and never ignored.
The flag was born for you, “the Dreamer” and the protector of DREAMS. The painting was contributed to by dreamers of all ages and every walk of life. Never forget we are the masters of our destiny and with every word, intention and action, we inspire our dream to live or we simply let it die.
One Flag, one Nation, one human race, standing side by side in brotherly love, compassion, and human kindness to inspire our dreams for ourselves and others, and through our actions, we honor the courageous efforts of every Veteran, or person that ever lived or died to protect our dream or wakes us up to truly live it
There is more to this story, but I will share that another time. I had intended to release both the original painting and the Collectors Edition on Canvas and Prints on 4th of July but it was just not possible, then I was going to release it in Nebraska and that’s when we found out our propane gas line had broken and were delayed 4 hours. So I guess now is just as good as any day right to release it right!
