Life, Love and the Journey of the Heart

'Inspiration' ~ Collage Series by Debbie Marie

OMG, it has been a few months since I have updated my Blog! Shame on me!  I have some good news and bad news, all a part of the journey, right?

First of all, the last four weeks have been probably the most challenging in my life. I was rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago for kidney stones… Ok, I know it’s not the end of the world, and yes, I will live. But realize this about me. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced, and I birthed 3 babies at home WITHOUT DRUGS!

While all this was going on, my brother got “The Call” for his new pair of lungs. So I was in San Diego in the hospital and he was on his way to UCSF and I couldn’t be with him. HORRIBLE feeling. Anyway, 4 weeks later and a lot of story in between, my brother is doing very well and I am on my way back to health. And a few things in my life are getting a BIG readjustment, to say the least. Good News can often come with bad news; it is all apart of this journey we call life. It is how you deal with it and how you create balance in your life, right? Like the movie EAT, PRAY, LOVE, “Balance is not allowing someone to love you less than you love yourself.” So Love yourself! I am and I am feeling much better!

  1. Debbie –

I so wish that you or Steve had called, or at least e-mailed me when you were in the hospital here! I had no idea.

I could have been there, for anything that you needed me for. I would have run errands, told you jokes, held your hand, anything! 🙂

Anywho, I am so glad that everything came out well ~ you are such a trooper.

My prayers to you and your entire family for your continued recovery, and the path of good health ~ both spiritually & physically.

My love to you all –

    ~ Rita
